An agency veteran and a lifelong corporate marketer have come together to redefine the very industry that introduced them to one another nearly 15 years ago as client and agency partner. 

Ryan Chuckel

Over the course of an 18-year career, Ryan has built a reputation for being one of the sharpest strategic minds and drivers of business in the agency world. As a senior leader of one of the fastest-growing, most-acclaimed agencies of the last five years, he played a leading role in Olson Engage’s drive to reinvent the business.  With awards like the 2014 PRWeek Agency of the Year, Holmes Report’s Best Consumer Consultancy in the World and Creative Agency of the Year in 2014 and an insane business development clip over the last three years that saw the agency win AOR or major project assignments from the likes of Pizza Hut,  Cabela’s, Sharp Electronics, Planters, McDonald’s, Oscar Mayer, Disney Consumer Products and Trulia, Olson Engage has been a juggernaut and Ryan a driving force as the Senior Vice President of New Business Development.  The agency veteran has built a career around developing and delivering on bold ideas that are ultimately measured by the business results achieved by his clients.

As a senior counselor to the C-Suite in Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurs at technology start-ups alike, Ryan has led strategy and idea development across categories from QSR to airlines and consumer technology.  His constant drive is to help his clients’ brands not only outpace the category and the competition but to challenge brands to discover, embrace and communicate their reason for being. He has spent a significant part of his career supporting “passion brands” - connecting people to brands that care about them, their lifestyle and their passion.  Whether its outdoors pursuits, cooking and food, home improvement and DIY activities or automotive performance, Ryan has poured his heart and soul into brands that live in the heart and soul of their consumer. 

Outside of his day job, Ryan has committed his spare time to helping combat-wounded veterans find physical, emotional and spiritual healing in the outdoors as the founder and organizer of the annual Wounded Warriors on the Water fishing tournament and charity event and as an advisory board member of Camp Ryan Adams, a Wisconsin-based 501(c)3 that gives back to those who have served our country through hunting and fishing outings and experiences.

Jeff Degen

Jeff is a proven senior executive with over 20 years of professional experience marked by a trend of progressive positions of management responsibility.  Jeff has a consistent record of value creation over the years, across all the businesses he has been involved in.

Jeff is a strong strategic planner and marketing & product management leader.  He has extensive knowledge and experience in the automotive OEM & Aftermarket, Home Building, and Consumer products.  His expertise and leadership has benefited both public and private companies.  Jeff has developed & executed highly successful marketing plans on a regional and global level.  His entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a drive to succeed has helped him launch innovative successful programs in every industry he has been involved in to continually push the envelope and drive results.  His extensive knowledge and hands on experience with some of the largest retailers in the world have served his teams and customers well.  His experience includes strategic planning,  regional and global brand management, category management, product development, research, acquisition integration.  Jeff’s broad experience from mid-size private equity to fortune 50 companies enables him to not only develop & execute successful programs but to do so on a scale that is a right fit for the organization's size and needs.  Jeff has an undying passion to uncover that unique position for an organization that will benefit itself, it’s customers, and the consumer.  Jeff’s work has earned him and his team membersmany awards but none so satisfying as the relationships with the teams he has worked with along the way.

When not on the job Jeff supports many charities including Wounded Warrior Project, Boys Club of America, and Catholic Charities.  Jeff enjoys the outdoors especially spending time on his property where heplans to custom build his futurehome that will use wood Jeff and friends harvested from the very land itself.
